Episode 214: Beast Hunter with Pat Spain

On today’s episode I am delighted to be joined by someone who I’ve always wanted to speak with since I first saw him as the host of the criminally underated Beast Hunter over a decade ago.

As the great-nephew of Charles Fort, Pat Spain has always has a thirst for the strange and the unusual and has now released 6 books covering his amazing, intriguing and often hilarious adventures whilst filming Beast Hunter.

Pat covers some of his favourite cryptids, some of the amazing locations he visited, throw some thoughts around about Sea Monsters, Cryptids, Dogmen and Vampires and of course cover his frankly terrifying attempt at the notorious “Bullet Ant Trial which can be viewed here:

It was an absolute honour to finally speak to Pat and I trust you’ll enjoy our conversation too!
